In this area you won't be short of things to do with your time, with local tennis courts, a choice of 5 local golf courses, cycling from your very own door and around the beautiful Rotonda area and fishing from your own back yard and along the coast.

Small shops and local boutiques are available, 15 to 20 minutes away, in Boca Grande together with excellent lunch time eating at the Loose Caboose and other small local restaurants.

15 minute in the Northerly direction, you will hit Englewood beach, a small beech town where you can cycle safely to Stumps Pass and lookout on one side at the beautiful inland water ways and on the other side the turquoise waters of the gulf. Here too you can dine at the excellent waterfront diner the White Elephant , with local playing bands and plenty of boats and activity to watch whilst enjoying your meal.

For a romantic evening meal, you could try the gorgeous Gulf View Grill with views of the Gulf sun set (booking advised).

Inland to Port Charlotte, around 15 to 20 minutes, is Charlotte County Baseball ground and on to Murdock Circle for shopping in malls, and all those famous American dining experiences, movies and theatres.
